At the Annual Meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Worcestershire many members of Aedificandum Lodge received appointments and promotions, some to very elevated ranks indeed!
Sadly, one of our members - W Bro George Barrow - retired from his role as Assistant Provincial Grand Master. The P.G.M., R.W.Bro Robert C Vaughan presented W Bro George with a an engraved silver salver and commented that George's work during his four years as Asst.P.G.M. had fully vindicated his choice; George had proved to be an extremely popular member of the Provincial Team!
It seemed only fitting that another member of Aedificandum should take W Bro George's place and indeed that is precisely what happened! W. Bro. Patrick Firminger, PProvSGW, was duly appointed one of the new Asst.P.G.M.'s alongside W. Bro. Michael Cox, PAGDC.
Continuing the lodge's presence amongst the higher echelons of the province, W Bro Martin Lawrence was appointed PrSGW for the ensuing year, meaning he will be attending something like 50 installation meetings in the next 12 months!
